Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive incremental business across geographic territories, including the West US region. The role demands an experienced, aggressive BD professional with solid industry and product knowledge and strong technical sales skills.

You will collaborate with customers, sales, product management, engineering and operations in a matrix organization, focusing on large end-users to make Honeywell their product of choice for deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of territory/account management in security access control and video industry sales.
• Proven track record pipeline growth and development.
• Travel requirements: minimum of 50% within the territory (California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada).

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of all enterprise new business opportunities. 100% Hunting Role.
• Deliver on financial objectives in conjunction with your local Regional Sales Managers (RSM's)
• Build and implement sales action plans to effectively and efficiently execute on company strategy
• Provide active participation in sales activities required to achieve business success
• Develop key sales competencies as required to maximize success, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen and business judgment
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition
• Add value to customers through growth and support activities including product demonstrations, regional trade shows and product road shows
• Own RFP responses and submittals within local territory
