Job summary

Honeywell INC. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive incremental enterprise opportunities across California and neighboring states.

This role requires an aggressive, experienced sales professional capable of operating in a matrix organization with customers, product management, engineering and operations teams. You will primarily engage large end-users to position Honeywell as their product of choice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of territory/account management in security access control and video industry sales experience.
• Proven track record pipeline growth and development.
• Travel requirements: minimum of 50% within the territory (California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada)

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of all enterprise new business opportunities. 100% Hunting Role.
• Deliver on financial objectives in conjunction with your local Regional Sales Managers (RSM's)
• Build and implement sales action plans to effectively and efficiently execute on company strategy
• Provide active participation in sales activities required to achieve business success
• Develop key sales competencies as required to maximize success, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen and business judgment
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition
• Add value to customers through growth and support activities including product demonstrations, regional trade shows and product road shows
• Own RFP responses and submittals within local territory
