Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Business Development Manager to drive incremental business across its geographic territories, with ownership of enterprise opportunities and a strong background in access control and video tech.

The role requires matrix-organization navigation, collaboration with customers as well as sales, product management, engineering and operations teams. Travel of about 50% within CA/AZ/NM/NV is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of territory/account management in security access control and video industry sales.
• Proven track record of pipeline growth and development.
• Travel requirements: minimum of 50% within the territory (California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada).

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise new business opportunities; 100% hunting role.
• Deliver on financial objectives with local Regional Sales Managers.
• Develop and implement sales action plans aligned with company strategy.
• Participate in sales activities to achieve business success.
• Build key sales competencies: prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen.
• Maintain knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition.
• Add value through demonstrations, regional trade shows and road shows.
• Own RFP responses and submittals within local territory.
