Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Manager of Scheduling Operations to standardize and optimize patient scheduling across all clinic locations and ambulatory surgery centers. You will design templates, rule sets, and protocols, while partnering with regional leaders and call center teams to ensure access, utilization, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or scheduling in a multi-site ophthalmology practice.
• Experience building or standardizing scheduling templates and protocols across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical skills with scheduling and access data.
• Excellent communication and change-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-wide provider scheduling templates, including visit types, slot durations, block time, and buffer standards.
• Develop and maintain scheduling scripts, decision trees, and protocols for the call center.
• Standardize policies for new patient intake, recall, overbooking and cancellations across sites.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors, Practice Managers, and physicians to balance access and utilization.
• Monitor performance, lead root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement.
