Position Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding relationships with new and existing enterprise-level clients. You will own the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, working closely with cross-functional teams to present tailored IT services and workforce solutions. Your role will be critical in building long-lasting partnerships, meeting revenue targets, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of sales experience (within staffing, upskilling, HTD or IT workforce solutions)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of the IT services and technology landscape, with the ability to explain how Smoothstack’s solutions meet client needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and decision-makers.
- Ability to work independently, self-manage your schedule, and collaborate with remote teams.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and in data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Ownership: Own the entire sales cycle—from identifying and qualifying new business opportunities to negotiating and closing deals with enterprise clients.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
- Client Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts through cross-sell and upsell strategies, ensuring clients continue to receive value as their needs evolve.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with Smoothstack’s growth objectives, ensuring you meet and exceed your sales targets and quotas.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services to clients.
- Pipeline Management: Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage and track sales activities, forecast accurately, and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and overcome objections to successfully close deals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both the client and Smoothstack.
