Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking an Commercial Account Executive to formulate and build a sales strategy within an assigned territory, reporting to a Sales Director in a small, tight knit team.

The role involves identifying, qualifying and closing a sales pipeline, prospecting CTOs and tech leaders, building growth-focused relationships, and partnering with Solution Engineers. Travel up to 50% may be required, with a strong track record of SaaS sales and quota attainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience growing revenues and bookings in SaaS
• 2-4 years in sales functions; preferably SaaS sales
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• Consistent quota achievement in SaaS, closing deals > $50k ARR
• Selling SaaS-based solutions to CXO and director-level stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close a sales pipeline.
• Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end-users.
• Build relationships that result in growth opportunities.
• Partner with Solution Engineers and leverage the sales team throughout the cycle.
• Participate in sales enablement trainings.
• Demonstrate ability to plan and close new business with technology after due diligence.
