Job summary

Coverys is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst in Boston to contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise risk programs. You will engage in risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting across risk areas.

The role involves supporting risk metrics, governance of ERM policies, and vendor risk management, with a focus on timely remediation and continuous skill development in ERM practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Work in an agile way, be innovative and keep pace with a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
• Working knowledge of enterprise risk and operational risk management frameworks, principles, and practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Vendor Risk Management program by assisting business partners with risk-based vendor performance reviews.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of risk control matrices, control risk assessments, risk profiles, heat maps, and related ERM documentation.
• Provide support on monitoring risks against established tolerance levels.
• Assist in updating enterprise-level risk metrics and aggregated global reporting.
• Assist in creating and reporting metrics that measure key risk and performance areas.
• Prepare documentation for Horizon scanning working group meetings and ERM Committee materials.
• Proactively monitor remediation progress of action items for timely resolution.
• Continue developing technical skills to stay abreast of evolving ERM practices and trends.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Enterprise Risk Management Analyst will play a critical role in the governance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. The ERM Analyst contributes to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Enterprise Risk programs which includes identifying, measuring, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting of risks. Programs include, but are not limited to, Risk and Control Assessments, Metrics Oversight, Issues Management, governance of ERM policies and materials, and Vendor Risk Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the Vendor Risk Management program by assisting business partners with the completion of risk-based vendor performance reviews to ensure timely governance and completion
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of risk control matrices, control risk assessments, risk profiles, heat maps, control effectiveness reports and related ERM documentation
• Provide support on the monitoring of risks against established tolerance levels.
• Assist in coordinating the compilation, data aggregation, and updating of enterprise-level risk metrics, including aggregated global reporting
• Assist in the creation and routine reporting of metrics that measure key risk and performance areas
• Prepare documentation for, and facilitate, Horizon scanning working group meetings
• Assist in the preparation of key documents for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
• Proactively monitor remediation progress of action items identified for timely resolution
• Continue the development of appropriate technical skills through internal and external resources to stay abreast of evolving risk themes pertaining to ERM related practices, issues and trends that may impact Coverys.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year College or University in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related discipline required
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Work in an agile way, be innovative and keep pace with a rapidly changing environment

Base salary range is $66,425 - $89,865. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including location, skill set, experience, qualifications and education.
