Job summary

Coverys is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to help design, implement, and manage risk programs including risk and control assessments, metrics oversight, and vendor risk management. The role collaborates across the organization to identify, measure, mitigate, and report risks.

The analyst will support ERM governance, monitor risk against tolerances, compile enterprise metrics, and prepare committee materials while advancing technical ERM capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant ERM experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Vendor Risk Management program by assisting business partners with risk-based vendor reviews.
• Assist in preparing risk control matrices, control risk assessments, and risk profiles.
• Provide support in monitoring risks against established tolerance levels.
• Assist in compiling enterprise-wide risk metrics and aggregated reporting.
• Create and report metrics that measure key risk and performance areas.
• Prepare Horizon scanning documentation for working group meetings.
• Prepare key documents for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
• Proactively monitor remediation progress of action items.
• Develop technical skills to stay current with evolving ERM practices and trends.

The Enterprise Risk Management Analyst will play a critical role in the governance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. The ERM Analyst contributes to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Enterprise Risk programs which includes identifying, measuring, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting of risks. Programs include, but are not limited to, Risk and Control Assessments, Metrics Oversight, Issues Management, governance of ERM policies and materials, and Vendor Risk Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the Vendor Risk Management program by assisting business partners with the completion of risk-based vendor performance reviews to ensure timely governance and completion
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of risk control matrices, control risk assessments, risk profiles, heat maps, control effectiveness reports and related ERM documentation
• Provide support on the monitoring of risks against established tolerance levels.
• Assist in coordinating the compilation, data aggregation, and updating of enterprise-level risk metrics, including aggregated global reporting
• Assist in the creation and routine reporting of metrics that measure key risk and performance areas
• Prepare documentation for, and facilitate, Horizon scanning working group meetings
• Assist in the preparation of key documents for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
• Proactively monitor remediation progress of action items identified for timely resolution
• Continue the development of appropriate technical skills through internal and external resources to stay abreast of evolving risk themes pertaining to ERM related practices, issues and trends that may impact Coverys.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or University in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related discipline required
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Work in an agile way, be innovative and keep pace with a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of enterprise risk and operational risk management frameworks, principles, and practices is a plus

Base salary range is $66,425 - $89,865. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including location, skill set, experience, qualifications and education.
