Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions. You will connect technical recoverability with business continuity, partnering across Cyber Security, IT, and vendors to establish resilience standards, track gaps, and drive measurable improvements.

The role supports development of governance, playbooks, and reporting, maturing recovery environments, and leading tabletop

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum professional experience in IT program/project management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or related fields.
• Knowledge of ransomware-resilient recovery, immutable storage, and validated restorations.
• Experience planning or supporting disaster recovery tests or tabletop exercises.
• Ability to analyze complex service dependencies and map to business outcomes.
• Strong documentation skills for risks, controls, and corrective actions.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map Critical Business Services and required resources to deliver them.
• Define/validate impact tolerances, RTOs, RPOs, and recovery priorities with owners.
• Plan, coordinate, and document resilience assessments, DR tests, and simulations.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates, and corrective actions through closure.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities (Rubrik, Azure, SQL, Veeam).
• Develop dashboards and executive reporting on readiness, testing, and remediation.
• Develop and document standards, procedures, and repeatable resilience processes.
