Job summary

Marathon TS is seeking an Enterprise Quality Manager to lead the program quality organization, shaping strategy and allocating resources for defense manufacturing programs. The role emphasizes driving quality performance aligned with business objectives, financial targets, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree within STEM and 5+ years' experience or equivalent experience without a degree or 9 years+ in aerospace quality or engineering.
• Experience leading multiple dynamic programs.
• Demonstrated people leadership, budget management, and customer interface.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. clearance.
• Must be based out of Virginia or Massachusetts with 15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality culture and strategy for program execution and priorities of the Quality team.
• Create an environment for the Quality team to succeed.
• Address quality issues using metric-driven approaches.
• Provide team management activities including HR-related duties.
• Develop Program Quality Engineer leaders and engineers.
• Align staffing with program demands, forecasts, and budgets.
• Own quality performance across multiple programs and lead improvement initiatives.
• Drive Zero Defect Planning and systemic RCCA initiatives.
• Set priorities capturing estimates to completion relationships.
• Manage quality labor and travel budgets for supplier/program support.
• Provide quality inputs to AOP, forecasts, and risk registers.
• Partner with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve systemic quality issues.
• Serve as senior quality representative to customers, executives, and program reviews.
• Ensure alignment with ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements and internal QMS/contractual obligations.
