Job summary

Ultra Maritime, a U.S. defense contractor, seeks a Senior Quality Manager, Programs to lead quality assurance across complex defense programs and product families.

You will drive prevention, risk management, and customer readiness while partnering with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in quality leadership, expertise in MRB and nonconformance, and a DoD clearance or eligibility; travel ~10–20% is expected, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, Program Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or a regulated production environment.
• Proven leadership of senior technical professionals and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of nonconformance control, MRB, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Quality strategy and execution across assigned programs and product families.
• Represent Quality to Program Managers, VSM leaders, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and customers.
• Maintain visibility of Quality risks and drive cross-functional recovery actions.
• Lead preparation for customer and government inspections and corrective-action responses.
• Develop and mentor Quality Engineers as senior technical partners.
