Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of quality engineers and drive reliability across spacecraft production. This role partners with engineering, manufacturing and integration to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. This position requires 5+ years in quality engineering (or 3+ years with an advanced degree) and the ability to obtain a U.S.

security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for this facility and role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering (or 3+ years with an advanced degree).
• Working knowledge of design, fabrication, integration, and testing methodologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Quality Engineers to meet business needs.
• Delegate and manage day-to-day team work across operations.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Own resolution of Discrepancy Reports in operations including suppliers.
• Partner with manufacturing, integration, supply chain, and program teams to ensure reliability.
• Develop and enforce quality requirements across the product lifecycle.
• Lead quality management system activities including audits, calibration, and nonconformance management.
