Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineering Leader to guide a team of quality engineers and CMM programmers in Malden, MA. The role focuses on elevating the quality function, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across functions to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

The leader will own quality plans, lead root cause analysis, support FAI and MRB activities, and mentor engineers to deliver robust processes and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Ability to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and CMM programmers to develop their capabilities.
• Develop and implement quality plans across product families; address non-conformances and participate in FAI, MRB, and special process requests.
• Drive process improvement using MSAs, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies across teams.
• Provide advanced technical support for quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support design reviews and critical decisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and inspection teams; present to customers as needed.
• Maintain quality documentation and generate leadership and customer reports.
