Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Enterprise Sales in Westerville, OH to lead cross-functional project delivery for high-value enterprise orders. The role focuses on end-to-end project execution, from PO intake to post-sale support, partnering with North American Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong communication skills including conducting effective meetings and presentations.
• Must be able to drive projects to completion.
• Proactive and effective problem solver.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of engineering, operations, manufacturing processes, and commissioning processes
• Ability to successfully manage stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers proactive project and program management to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with key internal and customer stakeholders.
• Acts as a primary client contact with Sales Leaders and Account Directors to ensure clear understanding of needs.
• Collaborates with the sales account manager to align on expectations and drive execution.
• Coordinates early-stage customer technical engagement with technical sales to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Leads end-to-end project management across planning, execution, monitoring and delivery.
• Oversees order entry, product delivery, site deployments, and technical development engagements to meet quality, scope, and schedule.
• Manages program strategy, milestones, and deliverables across the customer journey.
• Coordinates with various internal support functions to streamline the customer interface.
• Identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies to ensure success.
• Monitors progress and resolves issues to minimize disruption on the critical path.
• Assembles cross-functional teams to address quality, safety, manufacturing, and related issues.
• Oversees post-sales service and support and addresses customer concerns promptly.
• Escalates conflicts and ensures timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
