Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Product / Customer Lead to own the vision for a new enterprise operating system unifying MRP, scheduling, engineering, repair, service, and customer data. You will engage operators, engineers, supply chain, and program stakeholders to translate needs into prioritized requirements, mentor a cross‑functional team, and drive end‑to‑end delivery with AI‑assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial/Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software product management or technical product leadership.
• Experience owning MRP/ERP, MES, or PLM systems in manufacturing or engineering settings.
• Ability to translate business processes into system requirements with strong stakeholder management.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional influencing skills across all levels.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for a new enterprise operating system across MRP, production scheduling, engineering, repair, and customer data.
• Engage stakeholders to capture needs and translate them into prioritized requirements.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate implementation and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Elicit and manage requirements, including functional specs and data structures.
• Recruit, grow, and lead a cross‑functional team of product managers, engineers, and analysts.
• Drive architectural trade‑offs across MRP, scheduling, PLM/BOM, and data domains.
• Define and manage the product backlog and partner with engineering for iterative releases.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement based on performance and user feedback.
• Lead change management to make the platform the trusted enterprise source of truth.
• Ensure data traceability across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, service, and customer systems.
