Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to support manufacturing, scheduling and logistics across our operations. This hands-on role emphasizes strong communication, planning and project management while enabling the fabrication of space launch vehicles and components for human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, demand planning, or planning experience.
• Experience with planning and/or scheduling activities.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Experience working with a cross-functional team.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office; MES experience with MRP execution desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Lean, Six Sigma, DFSS, Kaizen knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Release/close shop orders in the MRP system and reconcile parts.
• Provide status updates on work in progress, material availability, and constraints.
• Prepare work orders based on MRP, master production schedule, and shop load.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and the program.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts via stock transfers and shipping orders.
• Expedite material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality and production areas.
• Implement material stocking strategy and maintain floor stock.
• Monitor flow of jobs through production and ensure on-time completion.
• Enter material transactions in MES and prepare shortage/damage reports.
