Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Engineering Operations Lead to anchor the Crew Systems product team. You will own the Rhythm of Business, drive the Integrated Master Schedule, and coordinate across engineering, planning, supply chain, and NASA partners to meet major milestones and DAC goals.

You will mentor engineers in schedule, budget, and execution, ensuring safe and timely delivery of crew-facing hardware, while adapting to shifting priorities and expanding scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or related field.
• 8+ years in program operations, engineering operations, or technical PM in aerospace or related field.
• Experience owning an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Demonstrated Jira experience
• Proven ability to own and improve cross‑functional processes
• Experience leading or co‑leading formal engineering reviews and managing documentation
• Experience with program budget/EAC tracking and WBS/schedule integration
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills
• U.S. citizen or eligible for U.S. employment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and run the Crew Systems Rhythm of Business and Weekly Business Review updates.
• Own and drive the Integrated Master Schedule and baseline maintenance.
• Manage product team budget tracking and support EAC inputs with Finance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, facilities, and NASA partners.
• Lead DAC planning and ensure readiness for major reviews.
• Lead planning for major reviews with clear ownership across the team.
• Mentor Responsible Engineers in schedule, budget, and DAC execution.
