Job summary

Altium is seeking an experienced Enterprise Pre-Sales Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support strategic enterprise customers through the technical sales process. In this role you will partner with Sales to demonstrate how Altium’s connected electronics design platform accelerates development, improves collaboration, and streamlines PCB design from concept to manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (EE/CE/CS).
5+ years in Field Applications Engineering or enterprise pre-sales.
Experience supporting enterprise software sales in electronics/PCB/embedded industries.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales to develop technical strategies for strategic accounts and complex opportunities.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers’ environments and objectives.
Deliver product demonstrations of the Altium Platform showing collaboration capabilities and connected design workflows.
Provide technical consultation on PCB design methodologies, engineering data management, and DFx.
Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and implementation strategies aligned with customer goals.
Support RFP/RFI responses with technical content and recommendations.
Collaborate with Product/Marketing/CS/Engineering to relay customer requirements and influence product direction.
Deliver technical workshops, training, and executive presentations.
