Job summary

Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, seeks an experienced Enterprise Pre-Sales Field Application Engineer to support strategic enterprise customers through the technical sales process. You will partner with Sales, lead discovery, and deliver compelling demonstrations of the Altium Platform to accelerate product development.

You will advise on PCB design workflows, engineering collaboration, and data management, while shaping proposals and architectures aligned with customer goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years in Field Applications Engineering or related roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise software sales in electronics/PCB/ECAD domains.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to develop technical strategies for strategic accounts.
• Lead technical discovery sessions about customer environments and objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations showing platform value and connected design workflows.
• Provide technical consultation on PCB design methodologies and engineering data management.
• Develop technical proposals, architectures, and implementation strategies.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with solutions and content.
• Collaborate with Product teams to communicate customer requirements and influence direction.
• Deliver technical workshops, training, and executive presentations.
• Assist customers with evaluations, integrations, and best practices.
• Conduct competitive positioning against other PCB platforms.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electronics trends and cloud collaboration.
