Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to serve as enterprise project manager for HVPE initiatives, focusing on system-wide pharmacy leadership for centralization and integration of new technologies across ambulatory, specialty, and community settings.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with operational, clinical, finance, and IT leaders to align deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy residency in hospital setting strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for disseminating drug information to health care staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as pharmacist-level project manager for enterprise pharmacy strategic initiatives across ambulatory, specialty, and community domains.
• Drive pharmacy centralization work including consolidation of prior authorization workflows and centralized patient communication.
• Act as a core connector across operational, clinical, finance, IT, and site-level pharmacy leaders to ensure system-level decisions are implemented on time.
• Coordinate HPOD project plans, document scope and success measures, track milestones, surface barriers, and prepare executive readouts.
• Build and maintain repeatable project infrastructure for pharmacy including timelines, RACI grids, status summaries, and checklists.
• Prepare leadership-level materials summarizing current performance, impact, and required decisions.
• Escalate risk and recommend mitigation when timelines, regulation, patient safety, access, or value are at risk.
