Job summary

Henry Ford Health System seeks a Pharmacy Automation Systems Supervisor to lead a team managing our hospital-wide automation platforms. You will oversee automated dispensing cabinets, packaging solutions, and related software and hardware, ensuring seamless daily operations across the clinical delivery system.

The role requires experience with BD Pyxis, ARxIUM Carousels, RxWorks, and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience with minimum of three (3) years of experience involving medication procurement, pharmacy sourcing and medication inventory management in a health care setting required.
Pharmacy technician experience for at least five (5) years required.
At least five (5) years of experience with various pharmacy dispensing systems, inventory management, and other automation supporting pharmacy operations required, with preference to BD Pyxis, ARxIUM Carousels, and RxWorks.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; 340b knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day supervision and support of Pharmacy Automation Systems.
Oversees automated dispensing cabinets and packaging solutions.
Ensures software/hardware function supports operations via hub-spoke model.
Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze financial data and streamline patient care.
