Checkout.com is seeking an Enterprise Technical Account Manager to build and maintain strategic client relationships, resolve technical issues, and optimize payment solutions. You will own API integrations, coordinate incident responses, and drive technical initiatives to boost performance and revenue.

The role involves deep merchant data analysis, executive storytelling, and ongoing enablement of clients in a hybrid environment with multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior, client-facing technical role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, or Sales Engineering.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end payment lifecycle.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on expertise with RESTful APIs; able to read API docs and guide developers.

Responsibilities

• Become a true expert on your merchants’ business, diving deep into their payment data to uncover actionable insights and opportunities.
• Act as a payment performance consultant, identifying initiatives that boost authorization rates, increase revenue, and drive product adoption.
• Serve as a strategic advisor during business reviews, translating technical performance into a compelling commercial story.
• Master customers’ API integrations and infrastructure as the primary technical authority.
• Lead incident responses with a calm, decisive approach and coordinate internal teams for swift resolution.
• Project-manage migrations and new product launches to ensure on-time delivery.
