Job Title: Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Specialist

Job Summary

The Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role involves real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve incidents. The EOC Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining technology stability and providing support for technology-related problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor technology systems, servers, and applications to detect and resolve issues promptly.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technology problems, including connectivity issues, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze technology performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless technology operations and support.
  • Training: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices and participate in ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT operations or a related role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in technology monitoring tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
