Job summary
A leading IT consulting firm seeks an IT - Network Operations Analyst, Associate to monitor network systems and application events in a 24x7 operations center. The role involves creating incident tickets, managing alarms, and implementing predefined procedures. Candidates should have a high school diploma, and basic IT knowledge with 1 year of relevant experience is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 10pm, requiring flexibility and independence.
Qualifications
1 year experience in telecommunication, internet, or network operation center environments desired.
Previous experience working in ticket management systems/applications (i.e., SMC Remedy), monitoring network devices or software operating systems desired.
Responsibilities
Monitor the network systems and application events.
Create and track incident tickets and change requests.
Timely implementation of predefined Playbooks and Run-books.
Provide feedback on alarms and process efficacy.
Skills
Basic knowledge of network protocols
Qualitative and quantitative analytic skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent work experience
AA in Information Technology or related field
