NiSource Inc. in Kentucky is seeking an Occupational Health Program Manager to provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for enterprise occupational health and injury prevention programs across NiSource operating companies.

The role partners with Safety, Operations, HR, Workers' Compensation, Claims, and other leaders to promote program awareness, align health initiatives with safety priorities, and ensure high-quality care through governance and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, clinical operations, safety, occupational health, or a related leadership environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational health, employee health, workplace safety, or injury prevention program leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex programs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing and implementing programs, policies, procedures, workflows, and performance measures.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinical professionals, operational leaders, and cross-functional business partners.
• Experience using data and performance measures to evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Experienced in use of computers, email, MS Word, MS Excel, and Occupational Health data programs

Responsabilités

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management of the enterprise occupational health and injury prevention program.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, develop, and evaluate occupational health team members.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, coverage, employee relations and personnel matters, performance expectations, professional development, and operational issues, partnering with Human Resources as appropriate.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, workflows, escalation pathways, and performance expectations to support consistent and effective program delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on employee safety, service, confidentiality, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee COHN clinical competence and scope of practice ensuring delivery of high-quality care and adherence to industry standards
• Serve as a primary occupational health program liaison with Operational Safety, local Safety teams, Corporate Safety, Workers' Compensation, Claims, Human Resources, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and other organizational stakeholders.
