Vermont Federal Credit Union is seeking a Network Administrator to support our South Burlington Operations Center. The role is on-site, with occasional work at branches across Vermont and after-hours maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• Experience administering medium-sized enterprise networks and systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications.
• CCNA and Security+ must be obtained within an approved timeframe.
• Experience with routing, switching, VPN, wireless, DNS, DHCP, and security.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, endpoint management, telephony, and identity/access management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work on site, travel to branch locations, after-hours or weekend support, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network stack and connectivity.
• Administer server environments, virtualization, endpoint management, backup, and DR tooling.
• Implement and maintain security practices across network and server infra; manage IAM and access controls.
• Maintain network security policies; support wireless platforms and secure access configurations.
• Monitor networks and systems; reduce alert noise and improve visibility.
• Maintain unified communications: IP phones, softphones, telephony uptime and contact center solutions.
• Support upgrades, migrations, service improvements, and change management; document procedures.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage and emergency support as needed.
