Job summary

Worth Credit Union in Bedford, Texas is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, implement, and manage the credit union's LAN, WAN, and network services. The role focuses on reliability, security, and performance to support staff and member data.

You will work with VMware, Microsoft Server environments, AD, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls, ensuring high availability, monitoring, and timely responses to incidents. Occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Server, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewalls.
• Experience in a financial institution or credit union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and manages FTWCCU's LAN, WAN, network segments and wireless access points.
• Maintains network hardware/software, monitors security, and ensures availability for staff and members.
• Researches new vendors, software, and services to support the strategic plan and IT projects.
