Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and secure scalable networks across mission-focused programs. You will install and manage routers, switches, and security devices, while documenting architectures and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of program/contract experience at similar scale.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required; exception: 4 extra years in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years as Network Engineer in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions and layouts.

• Implement and manage network security measures and access controls.

Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data. Resolve network issues. Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting. Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.

This position may allow for partial telework.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Twelve (12) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Required skills

• Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years)
• Proficient with Linux
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Security+ certification
• Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:
• Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Dell and HPE Linux servers
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• Ansible
• Nutanix – VM management
• Rubrik – data storage
• Nomad containers
• SALT scripts
• LibreNMS
• NetBox

Desired skills

• Linux system administration experience is a plus
