Job summary

We are seeking a talented Linux Systems Administrator to provide system support across multiple operating systems with a security mindset. The role is based at Fort Meade, MD, and requires current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and extensive SA experience.

A BS in Computer Science or related field is required, plus hands-on skills with Ansible, scripting (Bash/Python), firewall configuration, and vulnerability analysis to protect client networks and data.

Qualifications

• 15 years SA experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• CWIP IAT Level 2 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide system support across Linux and other OS with security focus.
• Manage day-to-day IT systems operations and monitoring.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Configure Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and network devices.
• Ensure security standards and perform vulnerability analysis.

Description

We are seeking a talented Linux Systems Administrator to provide system support across multiple operating system with a security understanding and experience.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• Redhat Certified Engineer (RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL): expert level installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
• Knowledgeable with virtual machines
