Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc., for network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Experience with Cisco Enterprise networking solutions, VOIP environments, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Ability to learn new or unfamiliar technology using documentation and resources.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure hardware; implement, administer, troubleshoot network devices (firewall, routers, switches, controllers).
• Experience with firewall, intrusion prevention, VPN, and authentication systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintain networking environment by documenting and ensuring system standards.
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and collaborating on optimization.
• Implements ITIL-based procedures for change control and management.
• Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups as required.
• Diagnoses, resolves, and documents hardware/software network issues for local and remote locations.
• Configures and maintains firewall, VPN, identity and authentication systems.
