Qualifications

  • Must know internet, computer networking gear and security configurations.
  • Experience with Cisco Enterprise networking solutions, VOIP environments, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Ability to learn and pursue professional development opportunities.
  • Ability to document issues and train end users as required.
  • Experience with firewall, intrusion prevention, VPN, and authentication systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders internal/external.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains networking environment by documenting standards.
  • Maximizes network performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Implements systems using ITIL-based change control and management.
  • Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware/software network issues for local and remote locations.
  • Configure, manage and maintain firewall, VPN, Identity and authentication systems.
  • Maintain IPAM, DNS and DHCP.
