Job summary
Thomas Jefferson University seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design and implement enterprise-wide networking solutions. You will develop configurations for routing, switching, wireless, and connectivity across on-prem and cloud environments, while coordinating handoffs and changes with validation and configuration management.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or high school diploma with at least 2 years related experience.
- Experience with routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP), BGP, IPv6 in complex networks.
- Knowledge of firewall design, NAC, VPN configurations for on-prem/cloud.
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into detailed low-level designs and diagrams.
- Implement routing, NAT, ACLs, and NAC policies across on-prem and cloud.
- Deploy firewalls and policy objects with change control procedures.
- Develop automation scripts to standardize repeatable tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve moderate network issues and coordinate with teams.
