Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking a Network Engineer to optimize enterprise network infrastructure, blending traditional networking with cloud/SaaS solutions. You’ll work with vendors on critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, and HVAC, to ensure reliability.

You’ll design, troubleshoot, and automate network solutions across LAN/WAN, AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments, while mentoring teammates and maintaining security and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in network engineering, focusing on traditional and cloud-integrated environments.
• Proficiency in routing protocols, network troubleshooting, and wireless deployments.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and scripting.
• Familiarity with vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network performance and resolve LAN/WAN, routing, and switching issues.
• Develop automated network monitoring and configuration solutions using scripting and APIs.
• Deploy SaaS apps including Cisco DNA, ISE, and Firepower Management Center.
• Lead troubleshooting for hybrid environments with AWS, Azure, and on-prem networks.
• Coordinate with vendors to address infrastructure issues and ensure reliability.
