Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to lead enterprise-wide NDT operations. You will shape strategy, standardize practices, and build capability across facilities, partnering with Plant Managers and Quality, Engineering, and Operations leaders to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

The role requires 10+ years in NDT/metal manufacturing and ASNT Level III certification where possible.

Qualifications

10+ years of NDT, Quality, Metallurgical, or related manufacturing experience with leadership of technical teams or multi-site initiatives.
Experience in heavy manufacturing environments (forging, steel, metals, foundry, aerospace, defense) preferred.
Deep knowledge of NDT methods: UT, MT, PT.
ASNT Level III certification strongly preferred; multi-method certs desirable.
Proven track record leading transformational change and operational performance across locations.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide NDT strategy, standards, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical oversight of UT/MT/PT programs across all facilities.
Oversee qualification, certification, and leadership development of NDT staff.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and records.
Drive capital planning, technology investments, and standardization efforts across plants.
