Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager, Forging to provide enterprise-wide leadership for forging operations across our manufacturing facilities. This role develops forging strategy, drives operational excellence, standardizes best practices, and builds organizational capability across the company, from forge engineering to production execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of forging, metal forming, or related manufacturing experience including leadership of operations.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environments such as forging, steel, metals, foundry, or similar industrial operations.
• Deep knowledge of forging processes, metal flow, tooling, and process control.
• Proven success leading transformational change and continuous improvement across multiple locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise forging operations across multiple facilities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and capacity.
• Drive standardized processes, lean initiatives, and data-driven improvements.
• Develop leaders and technical talent through coaching, mentorship, and training.
• Collaborate with Metallurgy, Forge Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Oversee capital improvement, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion projects.
• Serve as enterprise subject matter expert for forging processes and tooling.
