Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an experienced senior architect to lead the enterprise messaging strategy for Microsoft 365, Exchange Server, and collaboration platforms. You will guide security, compliance, and governance while partnering with Engineering, Product, and Risk teams.

Role emphasizes cloud modernization, tenant integration, and PCI-DSS compliance across large-scale environments. On-site work required, 3+ days per week, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience is required.
• Ten or more years of experience across multiple technology disciplines.
• Three or more years of project/team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for Microsoft 365 messaging, collaboration, and communication platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Outlook, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and solution design sessions for secure, scalable messaging solutions.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Security, Compliance, Risk, and Infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise collaboration capabilities.
• Develop and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, governance frameworks, and integration strategies across messaging platforms.
• Lead PCI-DSS compliance assessments, audit reviews, and remediation efforts with QSAs and regulatory stakeholders.
• Drive cloud modernization, platform transformation, tenant integration, and enterprise messaging migration initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders while serving as escalation point for complex architectural, operational, and compliance challenges.
