Job summary

Scot Forge Company is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager, Machining to provide enterprise-wide leadership for machining and sawing operations across our manufacturing facilities. This role develops machining strategy, standards, capability, and continuous improvement, coordinating with Plant Managers and functional leaders to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

The position requires leading teams across multiple sites, driving standardized processes, and delivering strong

Qualifications

10+ years of machining, CNC manufacturing, metalworking, or related experience.
Experience leading machining operations, manufacturing teams, or technical organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide machining and sawing strategy, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and capacity performance across machining operations.
Develop machining leadership, technical talent, and operational best practices.
Oversee capital planning, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and manufacturing technology strategies.
Develop leaders and technical talent through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and skills development.
Serve as the enterprise SME for machining, sawing, CNC programming, and related manufacturing technologies.
