Job summary

Digital Consultants LLC is seeking a Mac Engineer to provide on-site enterprise Apple platform support to the Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command (NMLPDC) in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on configuring, securing, and supporting Apple Mac devices and servers, developing new Mac infrastructure, and enabling migration to the NMED/MEDCOI network.

The candidate should have 4+ years in enterprise Apple/macOS environments, experience with Active Directory integration and MDM,

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise macOS administration and Apple devices.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and IA scanning.
• Experience with Active Directory integration and MDM.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Mac configurations and issues.
• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years in Apple enterprise environments may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, update, and support Apple Mac devices and servers using enterprise tools.
• Develop and maintain secure enterprise Mac infrastructure to support migration to NMED/MEDCOI network.
• Implement DISA STIGs and perform IA scanning and patching using STIG Viewer.
• Manage and deploy Apple devices within AD and MDM environments.
• Install, test, and support new Mac hardware, software, and OS versions.
• Provide hands-on and remote support for Mac equipment and PIV-secured laptops.
• Coordinate with IT staff on QA, production scheduling, and status meetings.
• Communicate plans, risks, and progress to management and ensure ticket resolution.
