Job summary

PMA Companies is seeking a Sr. Learning Solutions Specialist to design and develop learning experiences that enable enterprise initiatives and organizational change.

You will collaborate with leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts to assess needs and deliver scalable solutions that boost readiness and performance. You will independently lead multiple initiatives from discovery through implementation, applying solid instructional design, project management, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, organizational development, training, or a related field.
• Experience designing and developing instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and performance support solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise initiatives, organizational transformations, technology implementations, or process improvement efforts.
• Strong instructional design skills and knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop effective solutions.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and exercise sound judgement.
• Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to independently navigate challenges and deliver results.
• Excellent project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and performance support resources that support enterprise initiatives and business transformation.
• Translate complex business processes and operational workflows into engaging, learner-centered learning experiences.
• Develop scalable, high-quality learning content using appropriate instructional strategies and learning modalities.
• Partner with subject matter experts to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure learning solutions meet business objectives.
• Maintain consistency in instructional quality, branding, accessibility, and learner experience across all learning solutions.
• Continuously enhance learning resources to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts to understand business goals, operational processes, and performance needs.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and recommend effective learning strategies that support adoption and performance.
• Translate business requirements into practical learning solutions and build strong partnerships across the organization.
• Manage multiple learning initiatives from planning through implementation, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate reviews, feedback, approvals, and cross‑functional contributors to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.
• Identify and resolve project obstacles while maintaining momentum and quality.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using stakeholder feedback, learner input, and business outcomes.
• Update learning content as business processes evolve and identify opportunities to improve learning solutions, standards, and development practices.
