Job summary

The Enterprise Chief Learning Officer (CLO) at MUSC Health will lead enterprise learning, leadership development, and organizational capability strategy. As an inaugural executive reporting to the Enterprise Chief People Officer, the CLO will create a unified vision for workforce learning across healthcare, higher education, and research.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of executive learning leadership in a large healthcare org, academic medical center, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives and succession planning.
• Ability to integrate learning strategy across clinical, academic, research, and administrative environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of the enterprise learning strategy and governance framework.
• Build enterprise capability frameworks and foster a culture of continuous learning and workforce development.
• Design leadership development programs to strengthen pipelines for physicians, nurses, researchers, and executives.
• Oversee workforce onboarding, career pathways, and regulatory readiness across the MUSC enterprise.
• Provide oversight of LMS, digital learning ecosystem, simulation, and AI-enabled learning initiatives.
• Contribute to education initiatives across Medical University of South Carolina and affiliated programs.
• Present learning strategy and outcomes to executive leadership and governance committees.
