Job summary

Sunbird Software Inc. is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to manage assigned territories and close new business by building trusted relationships with Data Center Operators and Facility Managers.

This remote role requires residence in Texas and a proven track record in enterprise software sales and major account management. You will spearhead opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end sales—from prospecting to close—while leveraging Sunbird’s DCIM

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling enterprise software and managing major accounts.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies and explain value to customers.
• Experience in both channel and direct sales; pre-sales experience is helpful.
• Proven ability to manage and develop major accounts at C-level.
• Excellent account management and relationship-building skills.
• Existing rolodex of data center infrastructure managers/directors/VPs.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for new business opportunities and consult with customers to provide mutually beneficial solutions.
• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in accounts.
• Lead solution development and coordinate relevant company resources.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle for new and existing accounts.
• Use proactive selling to improve market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Provide regular updates to senior management via CRM.
• Attend industry events to cultivate customer relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
