Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer in its Intelligence Sector to join a fast-paced Agile team focused on modernizing an enterprise Java application. You will leverage Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and relational databases to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include API design, containerization, CI/CD, and architecture participation, with opportunities to influence technical direction and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Seven or more years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design and support RESTful APIs and data access components for relational databases.
• Support modernization, migrations to Spring Boot, microservices, and database modernization.
• Deploy containerized apps in Kubernetes across cloud/on-prem environments.
• Participate in architecture/code reviews and process improvements.
• Develop automated tests; support CI/CD pipelines; maintain documentation.
• Provide database administration support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
