Job summary

Fairfax County Government is seeking an Enterprise IT Technician in the Customer Experience Division to deliver exceptional technology support across the County. The role is cross-functional, supporting Mobility Services and other teams as priorities evolve.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with primary onsite work and in-person attendance is essential for hands-on support across multiple enterprise services.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support for desktop computers and peripherals in a Microsoft environment.
• Experience with mobile devices provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticket lifecycle management and trend analysis.
• Experience in IT help desk or customer-facing technology environments.
• Experience troubleshooting VTC systems and multifunction devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional technical support across multiple enterprise IT services.
• Support Mobility Services and assist other Customer Experience teams as priorities evolve.
• Work in a hybrid role with regular in-person attendance on site.
• Assist with enterprise asset management practices and AI-assisted service desk tools.
