ECS is seeking an Enterprise IT System Architect IV to work in our Remote office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:

The Enterprise IT System Architect supports Enterprise Architecture, Emerging Capabilities and Requirements work. Leads Enterprise Architecture (EA), compliance personnel, and integrates actions with other Task Area Managers. Leads systems engineering, configuration management, and requirements personnel. Establishes and manages teams in support of Enterprise Architecture, Emerging Capabilities and Requirements Task requirements.

Enterprise IT System Architect IV: Responsible for designing IT architecture for an organization on an enterprise level. Defines system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to the organization. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required Skills:

• BS in technical field with minimum 8 years of experience/MS with min 6 YE/PhD with min 3 YE
• Demonstrated planning, defining, and implementing architectures to support business and engineering applications and data, focusing on data access in useful formats, adapting to changing business needs, accurate and consistent data, organizational data sharing, maintaining affordable costs.
• Demonstrated experience in programmatic or technical leadership in identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to IT problems and guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems.
• Demonstrated experience employing systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex IT systems.
• Working knowledge of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
• Working knowledge of IT Program Management techniques and tools.

Desired Skills:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
