Job Description / Functional Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the collection and aggregation of data management tool business and functional requirements to inform capability roadmap planning.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data management practices and standards.
- Configure data visualization and analytics dashboards.
- Support the development of mechanisms (dashboards, communication plans, GitHub, etc.) for sharing AI successes, lessons learned, and performance metrics.
- Provide data visualizations and metrics to report progress toward NASA's goals, objectives, and milestones as per data and AI strategies.
- Manage user accounts, onboarding/offboarding, gather user feedback, and troubleshoot issues related to data and AI tools managed by CDO/CAIO.
- Organize and facilitate testing activities with stakeholders to ensure tools meet requirements.
- Evaluate generative AI capabilities for effectiveness and develop measurement frameworks for business value assessment.
- Identify use-cases supporting organizational needs and evaluate AI models for vulnerabilities such as bias, hallucinations, prompt injection, etc.
- Support AI evaluation activities, document findings, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Create a data and AI capabilities roadmap for future planning and phased integration.
- Develop procedures for annual data and AI inventories, ensuring proper documentation and metadata.
Education and Previous Work Requirements:
BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or related field with 15 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering / Multimedia Engineering.
Experience / Competencies / Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing multimedia systems.
- Ability to collaborate with content creators, designers, and engineers.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and performance analysis skills.
- Understanding of network protocols and security measures.
- Research skills and ability to integrate new technologies.
- Experience in project planning and management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Box.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in M365, SharePoint, MS Purview, Collibra, Informatica.
- Strategy Management, CDMP, ITIL, CompTIA Server+, MCSE, CISSP certifications.
Salary Range: $135K to $150K
