Job summary

North Carolina Department of Revenue is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join the PC Mobile Team in the Information Technology Division. You will deliver level 2 IT support, manage enterprise endpoint systems, deploy images, and troubleshoot a range of software and devices for internal customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to SLAs, and maintaining professional interactions while supporting Windows 11, Office 365, and mobile platforms like iPhones/iPads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT field with 2+ years IT experience.
• Associate degree in computer science or IT field with 3+ years IT experience.
• High School/GED plus 5+ years IT experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Inform manager and team leads of status/issues in area of responsibility.
• Keep tickets updated and ensure SLA requirements are met.
• Provide IT Desktop support to agency staff.
• Troubleshoot software problems (Windows 11, Office 365, browsers, and COTS software).
• Deploy PC images and software via SCCM; create knowledge base entries.
• Administer PC Mobile infrastructure systems (Intune, MECM, etc.).
