Job summary

The Enterprise IT Automation and Cloud Architect at CHOC Children's is responsible for leading the architecture, management and maintenance of technologies that support CHOC’s objectives. This includes automation, application and systems integration and cloud strategies to optimize internal processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to excel in a cross-functional role within an enterprise environment, implementing automated and integrated systems.
• Ability to implement custom integrations in a healthcare setting using development languages such as C#, PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript.
• Highly motivated to acquire, learn and implement new technologies while assessing their relevance to current organizational needs.
• Ability to manage multiple high priority projects while shifting work efforts with the changing demands of the organization.
• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and processes.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, problem solve and discriminate between important and unimportant details.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, management and maintenance of technologies that support CHOC’s objectives, with a focus on automation and cloud adoption.
• Work directly with IT Engineers and Support Staff to streamline and automate current manual work efforts.
• Design and plan CHOC’s continued use of cloud technologies and cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians and nurses to understand organizational flow and identify opportunities for process optimization.
