Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Manager of Automation to lead the Automation Center of Excellence, directing a team of engineers responsible for IaC, automation frameworks, and configuration management across multi‑cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will drive governance, implement GitOps, monitor metrics, and partner with security, networks, and DevOps to accelerate delivery while reducing manual effort.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of automation teams in multi-cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong experience with IaC and automation tooling.
• Knowledge of governance, security controls, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Automation team to deliver IaC solutions and pipelines.
• Oversee design, build, and maintenance of automation across Azure, GCP, OCI, and on-premise.
• Establish governance, testing, and approval workflows for automation artifacts.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, Architecture, and DevOps to standardize practices.
