Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a senior IT Enterprise Architect to provide technical leadership and direction on system scope and objectives. This role focuses on designing end-to-end architectures, aligning with enterprise standards, and guiding delivery teams through implementation.

The candidate will work with Portfolio Architects to evolve solution architecture for healthcare IT systems, oversee technical debt, and ensure high quality, scalable designs in a hybrid Columbus, OH environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (CS/Engineering or related field).
• 5–10 years IT experience preferred.
• Strong systems integration and design experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, security, and modern architectures.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs.
• Design application, integration, data, and infrastructure architectures.
• Lead technical discovery sizing activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and delivery teams.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Guide and support delivery teams through design reviews and implementation.
