Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking an Information Security Architect in New York to help develop and execute the information security risk management strategy within the Enterprise Risk Management program. You will advise leadership, design secure infrastructure, and ensure cost-effective security across applications and networks.

The role requires five years in IT security, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or relevant field; in lieu of degree, six years of experience.
• Five years of experience in an information technology security role.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to balance stakeholder interests.
• Experience with identity and access management, directories, MFA, network and application security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architecture principles and standards.
• Lead risk management strategy with business and IT stakeholders.
• Consult on design, reviews and recommendations for security projects.
• Provide hands-on security support for security technologies.
• Mentor staff and foster a risk-aware culture.
